Training the Next Generation of Osteopathic Physicians and Health Care Providers

Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM) was established on August 1, 2007, on the campus of Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ in Harrogate, Tennessee. With the beautiful Cumberland Gap mountains serving as the backdrop, Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM is one of the most prominent buildings on campus. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM currently offers programs in two locations: Harrogate, TN and Knoxville, TN. A third location will open in Orange Park, FL July 2026.  Quality educational programs are delivered through experienced faculty utilizing innovative teaching methods and state-of-the-art technology. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM is fully committed to meeting the health care needs of the community and beyond with excellence in teaching, patient care and services.

Harrogate

Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM was established in 2007 in Harrogate, Tennessee, with the mission of placing primary care doctors in Appalachia and the surrounding area. Since then it has graduated thousands of doctors, many of whom work in East Tennessee and the surrounding states.

Knoxville

DCOM at Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-Knoxville offers the same four-year, full-time academic and clinical program as offered at the Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM Harrogate campus granting the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. The Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-Knoxville campus opened its doors to a class of 125 in fall 2019.

Orange Park

DCOM at Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-Orange Park will open in the fall of 2026, bringing the first medical school to the Jacksonville, FL area. With Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM’s mission of placing primary care physicians in areas of health care needs, the new campus will be a welcome addition to the rapidly growing First Coast.

Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ-DCOM) will mark a milestone for nearly 400 graduates when it celebrates the Class of 2026 during commencement exercises Saturday, May 9, at 4:00 p.m. in Tex Turner Arena on the Harrogate campus. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ President Jason McConnell will confer undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees.
